K2 Slider

K2 Slider is a simple way to display some information from K2 with a nice JQuery slider effect.

How do I set it up?

You need to have K2 installed, of course.
Install this module like any other joomla module.
Configure the module by choosing the categories to display in each box. It will choose the newest item from each category to display.
Set your colors, borders, text and box sizes in the module parameters. See parameters below.
Enjoy.

How does it work?

We built K2 slider with simplicity in mind. K2 sider takes the text from the "intro text" and displays it in the main box. When you click the button, the box expands and shows the information that is below the "read more" so you are required to use the "read more" button to use this module. K2 Slider also use the picture from K2 and allows you to set you own size. See the screenshot below.

Why we didn't use limit text for the intro and body text

By default, K2 strips HTML when a text limit is set. We wanted you to have to ability to use HTML in the boxes so we decided against trimming the text, except for the title. This way we didn't need to alter the K2 component at all.
